I have educated my children well. They came home on Sunday with pressies for Mothers’ Day. Flowers and chocolate. (They know me too well.) The flowers are white lilies (so no doubt they will be drawn, painted or featured in a pattern design before long). Teamed with the lilies were a few stems of blossom, which I’ve never had in a bouquet before.
If you should find yourself in the Northern Quarter of Manchester, the hand-made chocolates came from the Bonbon Chocolate Workshop, which I am informed also serves the most divine hot chocolate (with orange zest or salted caramel rather than milk or cream). I feel a meeting in Manchester may be on the cards very soon.
