I’m enjoying this English summer weather. Now it’s finally arrived, it seems to be staying around for a while. With the warm sunny days, a favourite and necessary ritual is to water the plants in the early morning and early evening. It is a slow process with just a watering can, to-ing and fro-ing for refills of rainwater. It’s a perfect way to experience the amazing scents and colours of the garden at the beginning and ending of the day.
This lovely rose, just watered, caught my eye this evening. I shall be sorry when the rain returns and this ‘chore’ becomes unnecessary. Enjoy.
