I’m back after a beautiful week in Scotland, including a fantastic stay on the island of Iona. The white sandy beaches there were just stunning, and spent some time sketching there. I also spent a couple of days exploring Glasgow on the way, taking a zillion photos in the Botanic Gardens and enjoying the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and the Hunterian Art Gallery’s reconstruction of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s house. Plenty of inspiration to process now.
In the meantime, a painting I started before I left and managed to finish this afternoon.
